An established biopharma company developing a life-saving treatment to combat acute opioid overdoses selected Adnexi to:

  • Identify KOLs in the US only who met specific designation criteria

  • Obtain the complete scientific history of all KOLs

  • Provide the ability to track the compliance vetting status of each KOL

  • Integrate with Veeva CRM with daily data interchange

Adnexi Approach

We deployed the Adnexi platform to perform an algorithmic search for the disease of interest using ~40 disease and product terms. Adnexi determined the professional designations of interest to the client and filtered profiles accordingly. KOL profiles included all available data on:

  • Publications

  • Clinical trials

  • NIH grants

  • Reported payments

  • Contact Information

  • FDA, OIG, NPI status

Results

This customized KOL platform delivered ranked KOL data to the client that contained:

  • 2,500 authors in the disease of interest

  • 1,340 articles published on the disease

  • 177 clinical trials working to develop treatments for this condition 

In addition, a successful daily data integration with Veeva keeps the vetting status of HCPs current on both the Adnexi and Veeva platform. The client used this discovery and ranking data to prioritize field efforts of MSL and strategic efforts in Medical Affairs.
